Chapter 368: Missing You


Taryn: Madeline’s asleep already, she really was tired.
Felix: She missed you; if nothing else I’m glad I brought her back to you.
Taryn: I’m so happy you are both back.


Felix: What are you doing?
Taryn: Now that Madeline is sleeping I’m coming to welcome you home the right way.




Taryn: *sigh, sniff*
Felix: Hey, are you okay?
Taryn: I’m just glad to have you back…I…really missed you.
Felix: I’m sorry.


Taryn: We did what we had to do and it’s over now so it’s okay.
Felix: I know, but maybe I shouldn’t have kept Madeline with me for the past six weeks.
Taryn: She needed her Daddy-time. I’m a big girl, I managed okay. Now that you’re both back it doesn’t matter.


Felix: I did it for you…you and Madeline. You know that, right? Nothing else would have made me willingly leave home for that long.
Taryn: I know, and I love you for it.
Felix: I missed you more then I can say. I won’t go away again unless you come with me.


*They hold each other close for a long time*

Elsewhere…

Bo: What’s up, Jonas?
Jonas: Oh…hi, Bo.
Bo: Alright, what’s bothering you now?
Jonas: There’s always something, isn’t there?
Bo: With you, yes. Now spill it.


Jonas: I got another letter from Rayna…
Bo: And?
Jonas: She said she was hoping to be coming home soon, but something came up so it’s not going to happen like she was hoping and they are going to be gone for another few months at least.


Bo: Jonas, I am sorry. I know you miss her.
Jonas: I miss her a lot…but she says she has a surprise for me when she gets here…I suppose that’s her way of giving me something to look forward to.
Bo: Until then…


Jonas: I know…I know…I need to deal with it better then I have been. Regardless of how I’ve been acting, I have been listening to you.
Bo: Really?
Jonas: Yeah…and I’m sorry. I’m not very good at showing my appreciation, but you have been a really good friend to me these past few years, Bo. You and Melodie. I just don’t know how to thank you the right way.


Bo: You just did.
*Jonas smiles…*


*…then he blushes and looks away, Bo tentatively puts her hand on his back*

Just more cute with Taryn and Felix because I wanted to. :P Also, Jonas isn't quite the lost cause he might seem, at least he can acknowledge that he mopes and needs to move on to other things. That's the first step. More with Bo in the next chapter...
